Construction is slated to begin this month on the 20-story 400H tower in Downtown, after years of planning. The project is located on the 400 block of Hillsborough Street , (near Taverna Agora + Morgan Street Food Hall.)

Plans were first unveiled in 2017 for the 365,000 sqft building, and include:

  • 11 levels of apartments
  • 5 levels of office space
  • 1 level of retail
  • 1 integrated amenity level dubbed the “SkyHub”
  • 3 levels of parking

That totals up to 150,000 sqft of office space, 16,000 sqft of retail space + 242 luxury residential units.

What exactly is a “SkyHub,” you ask? The 9th floor of the tower will be integrated to include both residential and office space + feature amenities such as an outdoor pool, a fitness center, and locker rooms. Plus, killer views of Raleigh’s growing skyline.

The project is also near the Raleigh Crossing development, whose first phase is scheduled to be completed by the end of the year. Construction for 400H is set to be completed in fall of 2023.
