  • NC State Football vs. Stanford | 12 p.m. | Carter-Finley Stadium | The Pack and the Cardinal will meet for the first time in program history for NC State’s homecoming.

  • NC State Women’s Basketball vs. ETSU | 7 p.m. | Reynolds Coliseum | $30 | During the Pack’s season opener, the banner for the 2023-24 season that ended in the Final Four will be raised.

  • Whose Live Anyway? | 7:30 p.m. | Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts | $46+ | These on-screen improvisers will perform an original show from Raleigh.

  • Stella’s, a new dive bar open on North West Street, offers a retro, community-focused vibe and local art. The menu features classic drinks and seasonal cocktails, along with non-alcoholic and THC options. Owner Ali told Raleigh Magazine, “the space aims to make everyone feel like a regular.” (Raleigh Magazine)

  • Have you voted yet? Join the over 3 million NC voters who’ve cast their ballots before early voting ends today at 3 p.m. — both local + national races are on the ballot this year.

  • In case you missed it, Pulitzer Prize-winning musician Rhiannon Giddens will host a new music festival in Durham called Biscuits & Banjos April 25-27. Musicians involved include Rissi Palmer and a Carolina Chocolate Drops reunion. (INDY Week)

  • Honeygirl Meadery is moving into a new 3,000 sqft facility at Durham’s American Tobacco Campus. Founded in 2014, the meadery will feature a tasting room, two bars, and an outdoor patio. The grand opening on Saturday, Nov. 16 will include samples and special dishes from James Beard Award-winning chef Ricky Moore from Saltbox. (The News & Observer)
