Remember that exotic cereal bar we’ve mentioned before? We’re showing y’all an inside look of Day and Night before next week’s grand opening.

Day and Night’s new Raleigh location opens to the public on Tues., Oct. 5. Aka: It’s time to start planning what you’ll be ordering.

The spot offers a variety of cereals in different milkshake + bowl combinations. There are 12 house cereal creations — including Scooby Snacks with Cinnamon Toast Crunch, graham crackers, Oreo bits, and peanut butter drizzle — as well as the option to build your own bowl.

“There are also cereals you can’t get in store. While we do have classics like Cocoa Puffs and Fruit Loops, we also have Day and Night exclusives like Little Debbie’s Cosmic Brownie Cereal,” Briana McGahee, owner of Raleigh’s Day and Night, said. “My daughter loves Baby Shark Cereal.”

Individuals can also choose from different milks such as whole, skim, oat + almond and extra toppings. Day and Night plans to work with local companies in the future to source ice cream and edible spoons.

What we tried: We ordered the Unicorn Breathe shake (with sprinkles) and the Buttercup bowl. The Unicorn Breathe is made with Fruity Lucky Charms, Fruity Pebbles, whipped cream, and strawberry drizzle. The Buttercup bowl is made with Cocoa Puffs, Reese’s Cups cereal, and peanut butter drizzle.

Day and Night is located at 6325 Falls of Neuse Rd. (in Sutton Square plaza). Their regular hours are Tuesday-Thursday 10 a.m.-8 p.m., Friday-Saturday 10 a.m.-9 p.m., and Sunday 12-6 p.m.
