Downtown Raleigh’s newest nightclub — Zenith Raleigh — opened at 226 Fayetteville St. earlier this month, and we’re sharing a run down on the spot + helping you sort out your next night out on Fayetteville Street. 🎶
The futuristic nightclub took over the former Coglin’s establishment , which closed on Dec. 31, 2020 due to restrictions on bars during the COVID-19 pandemic .
Zenith Raleigh Highlights:
- Throwback tunes
- Décor incorporates current pop culture references related to books, movies + comic books
- Retro ambiance
- Indoor seating + bar
- TVs showing sporting events
- Front + back patios
Hours of operation:
- Thurs.- Sat., 5 p.m.-2 a.m.
- Sun., 2 p.m.-2 a.m.
Current Zenith Raleigh partner Will Gibbs — the former general manager of Coglin’s — shared with the Triangle Business Journal that he has brought back some former Coglin’s staff members + DJ’s. He also noted that the bar will keep its love for 80s and 90s culture, but will shift towards incorporating more pop culture themes across different eras .
