Toilet paper has been a hot topic since the beginning of the COVID-19 outbreak and continues to be in high demand as the stay-at-home order is extended to next Friday, May 8.

We’ve had readers like Candy C. reach out and ask, “Could you all report where in Raleigh there’s available toilet paper?” We want to help you all stock up + learn when is the best time to go out and pick some up. With lots of calls, research + awkward conversations about toilet paper over the phone, we’ve tracked down some local and big name stores scattered around our city that claim they are now consistently carrying those much-needed paper goods. Not everyone was able to share the exact days they receive new shipments, but we do have an insider tip: When we called each store, they all said early morning shopping is the best way to get what you need during the pandemic.

If you have any other insights after your research and toilet paper searching, we’d love to hear them. Here’s what we know for sure.
