City Editor Anne here. 👋 I recently got engaged, and with a wedding coming up, I’ve been searching for ways to level up my skincare. Enter: Synergy Face + Body.

As someone who has always struggled with acne, Synergy’s DiamondGlow Facial was the perfect reset for my skin (and the VISIA Skin Analysis confirmed it could use some work).

The one-hour experience was a great mid-day self-care break. Here’s how you can Try This.

What we tried (with pricing):

I booked my skin consultation and clinical facial treatment online ($200+). When I entered Synergy’s new luxe location in Cary, I was greeted by gracious staff and a serene waiting room.

First, lead medical esthetician Stephanie reviewed the details of my skin with a VISIA Skin Analysis. I even learned my TruSkin age (it turns out that I’m 23 and my skin is 21).

During the facial, Stephanie focused on my neck, face, eyes, and lips so relaxing. The three-in-one treatment process extracted, exfoliated, and infused all at once to boost my skin’s health. I left feeling radiant with soft and glowy skin.

What not to miss:

Before my facial, Stephanie performed a VISIA Skin Analysis. The state-of-the-art machine took photos of my skin and Stephanie led me through the results. I learned about my pore size, UV damage, red + brown spots, wrinkle density, and texture. She even made recommendations for future corrective and clinical treatments that will help my skin. Pro tip: Arrive with a clean, makeup-free face. Synergy has makeup remover if you need it.

What we’re still talking about:

The results were immediate + there’s no downtime to this treatment — I walked out with my skin feeling and looking amazing. Plus, I continued to see results for days after my facial (read: my skin stayed rejuvenated well past my appointment).
