A tribute to the City of Oaks, Raleigh Brewing Company’s Belgian Golden Hell Yes Ma’am (3.75/5) packs a fruity, spicy, and warming punch. Careful — it’s easy to drink, even with 9.2% ABV

Crank Arm Brewing Company’s Road Hazard (3.83/5) is a New England-style hazy IPA which the brewery describes as a “cloudy mouthful of hoppy happiness.”

A coffee-infused brew, the Hidden Pipe (3.87/5) porter from Raleigh Brewing Company is a bitter beer with sweet elements for a balanced sip.

The 10% ABV Remix Double IPA (4/5) from R&D Brewing is a pineapple-y and slightly carbonated hoppy beer with a bronze medal from the 2019 U.S. Open Beer Championships.

Taking gold at Trophy Brewing is Cloud Surfer (3.94/5) a dry hopped IPA — try the Double Surfer for an even hoppier + fruitier flavor.

When you head to Ponysaurus’s Raleigh Iron Works spot, give the classic IPA (3.75/5) a try with notes of citrus + cedar.

If you want a whole flight of possibilities, head to Raleigh Beer Garden. With nearly 400 beers on tap, ranging from local to halfway across the globe, it’s the Guinness World Record holder for the most beers on draft — and of course Guinness is on tap too.
