Trophy Brewing, located at 827 W. Morgan Street, has unveiled their renovated + expanded taproom to the public. They transformed the former convenience store and laundromat next door into a new bar + patio space. The new patio is a welcomed addition to the normally-packed pizzeria and brewery. The fermentation process for their sour beer (Trevor here — my personal beer of choice) and wild ales will be done in-house so visitors can see a little behind-the-scenes action on how they transform their (healthy) bacteria into booze.

In addition to adding more beers to their list, the expansion brings with it three double-decker pizza ovens + increases the overall seating to 132, with more patio space on the way. If all of this wasn’t enough to send you to Trophy Brewing right after work today, they are in the process of adding 2,000 sq. ft. of green space on the roof, including 54 solar panels. While this grassy roof won’t be open to the public, they will be a leader in sustainable building locally, which is always something to celebrate.

With the expansion up and running, it’s time for the Trophy Brewing construction team to give their initial space the same makeover. By early next year, renovations on the original Trophy Brewing shop will be complete and both buildings will be open for business with more space + more brews.
