Enter: THE RINK - Presented by UNC Health (Red Hat Amphitheater, 500 South McDowell St.), featuring a natural ice skating rink with stunning views of the Raleigh skyline. THE RINK presented by UNC Health officially opened for the season on Nov. 20 and can be enjoyed through Jan. 1. Here’s everything you need to know before you lace up your skates:

- Thurs. 5-9 p.m.
- Fri. 5-10 p.m.
- Sat. 12-10 p.m.
- Sun. 12-7 p.m.
- Closed Sat., Dec. 4
Holiday hours (Dec. 20-Jan. 1):
- Mon.-Wed. 3-9 p.m.
- Thurs. 12-9 p.m.
- Fri.-Sat.: 12-10 p.m.
- Sun. 12-7 p.m.
- Christmas Eve: 12-7pm
- New Year’s Eve + New Year’s Day: 12-10 p.m.
- Closed Thanksgiving + Christmas
Admission 🎟️
Skater admission is $11, including skate rental. Don’t feel like skating? You can still enjoy the festive atmosphere for $6 — taxes + fees may apply.

Skaters (and non-skaters) can purchase tickets online or at the door up to 30 minutes prior to opening.
