We predict that the 2025 Dreamville Festival will be one of the best yet. | Photo by RALtoday
It’s the end start of an era for Dreamville. After 2025 was announced as being the fifth and final year of the two-day festival, City of Raleigh officials revealed some exciting news: the city reached a four-year agreement for a new annual festival under the Dreamville label.
Raleigh City Manager Marchell Adams-David told The News & Observer that Dreamville’s founder and Grammy-Award winning NC-native J. Cole will still be involved with festival planning, even if he doesn’t headline.
Dreamville, known as one of the biggest events in Raleigh and a place where music, community, and culture intersect, has attracted more than 100,000+ attendees since its debut in 2019.
In 2023 alone, the festival garnered $145.9 million in revenue for Raleigh. Economic boosts were seen across industries like hotels, food + beverage, and transportation. We can’t wait to see what this new era of Dreamville will bring.
