Peregrine, a contemporary eatery founded by chef Saif Rahman + Patrick Shanahan, will debut as the flagship restaurant in 1000 Social at The Exchange Raleigh this spring.

The space will boast 4,000 sqft, and its menu will be a blend of NC cuisine and South Asian dishes crafted by Rahman. The Raleigh chef aims to honor his family and provide a glance of his worldly travels through signature dishes like fish curry and crispy lentil fritters.

Patrons can expect a spacious venue with seating for up to 100 guests and an ancient + modern design.

Additionally, Peregrine will feature a private dining room suitable for 10 guests, a cocktail bar with a direct view of the open kitchen, grand arches, and Moroccan tadelakt-finishes. Shanahan, a Raleigh-native was the restaurant’s visual architecture designer. He is also the co-owner of the award-winning cocktail bar Watts & Ward on Blount Street.
