More is debuting at the Exchange Raleigh as it nears completion, and we’re breaking down what’s currently available and what’s to come.

Billion dollar mixed-use development The Exchange Raleigh in Midtown is loading up on additions. Since its conceptualization in 2017 by Dewitt Carolinas, the 40-acre project has made strides for the development.

Open for biz

Last year, the development announced a collaboration with Life Time to create a luxurious and expansive community featuring various residential options, an athletic country club, green spaces, retailers, and restaurants.

The development includes condominiums + multi-family residences. The midtown project also houses 12-story office spaces in the 1000 Social tower.

Besides spaces made to live or work, there’s a ton more to explore. Retailers and places to eat currently open include:

The completion of the development is slated for 2027, but there’s still plenty to look forward to in upcoming developmental phases.

  • Peregrine | Opening early 2025 | The contemporary eatery founded by chef Saif Rahman + Raleigh-native Patrick Shanahan will be located in 1000 Social and will boast 4,000 sqft. It’s menu will be a blend of NC cuisine and South Asian dishes.
  • Bongiorno & Son Italian Specialties | Opening 2025 | Chef Michael Bongiorno’s new concept is a deli + market that will offer grab-and-go meals and an ambiance of Italian apertivo tradition.
  • Toastique | Opening 2025 | A gourmet toast, juice, and coffee bar with health-focused meals, smoothie bowls + cold pressed juices.
