Major Local Announcements
○ Governor Roy Cooper announced a new issue of rules + regulations including a state-wide curfew. The curfew will require people to stay at home between the hours of 10 p.m.–5 a.m. The executive order will go into effect Fri., Dec 11. (CBS 17)
○ NC remains in Phase 3 of the state’s reopening plan. Bars with outdoor seating, outdoor entertainment venues, movie theaters, and amusement parks are permitted to be open at 30% capacity or for 100 guests, whichever is fewer. (The News & Observer)
○ The City Council announced that all city-sponsored events will be cancelled through the end of this year due to concerns related to the spread of coronavirus. This includes the annual New Year’s Eve celebration, First Night Raleigh, and other seasonal events. (WRAL)
○ NC Schools will reopen for the 2020 fall term under the Plan B option, which calls for moderate levels of social distancing, reduces building density to 50% + combines in-person and online instruction.
