In the spirit of supporting all things local, we’ve rounded up six farmers markets in the Raleigh area where you’ll find fresh food, live music, and local vendors.

The Farmstand at Raleigh City Farm | Wednesdays, April through November | 4-7 p.m.

  • Features: Fresh, pay-what-you-can produce and specialty items
  • Parking: Free parking in the Raleigh City Farm lot
  • Space: Outdoors

Chapel Hill Farmers’ Market | Saturdays, year-round | 9 a.m.-12 p.m.

  • Features: Coffee, confections, pottery, and seasonal items
  • Parking: Free parking in University Place lot
  • Space: Outdoors

Note: The Chapel Hill Farmers’ Market is also open Tuesdays, 3-6 p.m., April through October.

State Farmers Market | Daily, year-round | 5 a.m.-7 p.m. (Monday-Saturday); 8 a.m.-5 p.m. (Sunday)

  • Features: Wines, local cheese, and plants starting in March
  • Parking: Free parking in Farmers Market lot
  • Space: Indoor and outdoor

Midtown Farmers’ Market | Saturdays, April through November | 8 a.m.-12 p.m.

  • Features: Produce, meats, eggs, honey, coffee, baked goods, and handmade specialty items
  • Parking: Free parking in the underground parking garage
  • Space: Outdoors

Cary Downtown Farmers Market | Saturdays, year-round | 8 a.m.-12 p.m. (April through October); 9 a.m.-12 p.m. (November through March)

  • Features: Twice-annual dog contests and fresh produce, meat, and dairy
  • Parking: Public parking is located behind the First United Methodist Church off of Walker and Waldo streets
  • Space: Outdoors

Durham Farmers’ Market | Saturdays, April through November | 8 a.m.-12 p.m.

  • Features: Beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), plants, and garden products
  • Parking: Free parking in lots at Foster and Corporation streets, the Old Ballpark, and the Measurement lot above the market
