Has your family packed up + headed home from their holiday trip to Raleigh? Did you just touch down at RDU and you’re already thinking about what you + your Raleigh crew are going to do around downtown this week?

Downtown Raleigh’s newest nightclubZenith Raleigh — opened at 226 Fayetteville St. earlier this month, and we’re sharing a run down on the spot + helping you sort out your next night out on Fayetteville Street. 🎶

The futuristic nightclub took over the former Coglin’s establishment, which closed on Dec. 31, 2020 due to restrictions on bars during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Zenith Raleigh Highlights:

  • Throwback tunes
  • Décor incorporates current pop culture references related to books, movies + comic books
  • Retro ambiance
  • Indoor seating + bar
  • TVs showing sporting events
  • Front + back patios

Hours of operation:

  • Thurs.- Sat., 5 p.m.-2 a.m.
  • Sun., 2 p.m.-2 a.m.

Current Zenith Raleigh partner Will Gibbs — the former general manager of Coglin’s — shared with the Triangle Business Journal that he has brought back some former Coglin’s staff members + DJ’s. He also noted that the bar will keep its love for 80s and 90s culture, but will shift towards incorporating more pop culture themes across different eras.

You can also check out the Zenith Raleigh shop — offering various Zenith Raleigh + downtown Raleigh-related apparel items — here.
