Recently, INDY Week shared with us that Raleigh’s Brewgaloo, NC’s largest craft beer festival, was featured on USA Today’s list of beer festivals as the Best Beer Festival in the US.

Raleigh is a great place for some big festivals. Between Brewgaloo, Dreamville Fest, and the International Food Festivalwe’ve got it pretty good.

But with all the great festivals we DO have, we started thinking about what type of festivals we don’t have. For example, why don’t we have a Raleigh Film Festival where we celebrate the movies that have been filmed in our state and the ones that are currently being filmed? What about a Fashion Week Festival highlighting all the amazing designers and models in our region? Or what about a major performing arts festival like Charleston’s Spoleto?

Tell us what kind of festival you’d dream up for Raleigh. Join the conversation below.
