The inaugural Raleigh-Durham Startup Week is in full swing. This free, four-day event celebrates the Triangle’s startup community + provides a space for people to make new connections and learn from other companies in the area.

The event, hosted by Techstars in various Durham venues, kicked off on Tues., April 19 and runs through Fri., April 22. There are four main themes: Startup 101, Legal & Finance, Design & Development, and Emerging Topics.

Both students + professionals are encouraged to participate in the event.

Coming up

Begin both of the remaining days by coworking among other Startup Week attendees at the American Underground from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Later, attend various panels led by local and national technology leaders from 1-5 p.m.

On Thursday, choose from 13 different panels to attend, like “Establishing a High Performance Culture” + “How to Transition from College Life to Startup Life.” End your day with additional networking and a free drink at the GrepBeat happy hour from 5-7 p.m. at Bull McCabe’s Irish Pub (RSVP here).

There are 12 panels on Friday. Listen to presentations like “The Complicated Art of Naming Your New Company” + “I Sold a Company to Google and One to Facebook.
