With the relocation of Advance Auto Parts from Roanoke, VA in late 2018, Raleigh gained its first Fortune 500 company headquarters — but there are several other Fortune 500 listers with a major presence in the Triangle, including Duke Energy, IQVIA, Bank of America + IBM.

Ranked in an annual list published by Fortune magazine, the Fortune 500 companies are identified as the largest corporations in the country, based on revenue, and usually that means well-paying jobs, and lots of ‘em.
