The Exchange, Midtown | Projected completion: 2027 | This 40-acre project near North Hills has had a huge year with Peregrine being named as the Best New North Carolina Restaurant and Capulet Cocktail Club‘s opening this week. In the end, The Exchange will have nearly 1 million sqft of office space, 300 hotel rooms, and up to 1,275 residential units.
Depot Historic District, Warehouse District | Projected completion: 2028 | Featuring a 170-key boutique hotel and over 30,000 sqft of street-level retail, this project is set to transform downtown’s The Depot, home to Videri Chocolate Company but will preserve the historic 1912 building. Expect outdoor spaces, public plazas, and pedestrian-friendly connections to the Raleigh Convention Center and Red Hat Amphitheater.
