Get ready to hoist a Guinness — St. Patrick’s Day is Sunday, March 17, and Raleigh is going green. From bagpipe performances to green beer, these 12 events around the City of Oaks are sure to bring you the luck of the Irish.

Saturday, March 16
  • Downtown Raleigh St. Paddy’s Block Party | Saturday, March 16 | 12 p.m. | Hibernian Pub, 311 Glenwood Ave., Raleigh | Free | Craic awaits with DJ sets, live music, Irish dancers, bagpipers, and delicious Irish fare.
  • Tap Yard’s ShamROCKIN’ St. Paddy’s Party | Saturday, March 16 | 12 p.m. | Tap Yard Raleigh, 1610 Automotive Way, Raleigh | Free | Green beer will be flowing all day and music from Vertigo will keep the party going into the night starting at 8 p.m.
