The Research Triangle is bigger than ever — and just keeps growing with more businesses. Here are just a few national companies coming to Raleigh and the area + potential job openings.

The Research Triangle is home to tech companies galore, and other businesses are taking notice. National companies specializing in tech, auto, and more are coming to the area soon and bringing jobs with them.

Apple, Research Triangle Park | Technology industry

Want to design the next iPhone? The stage is set for tech giant Apple to begin construction on its new campus in NC. In the meantime, Apple employees are working away in nearby office spaces.

Bandwidth, Raleigh | Communications industry

This digital communications platform’s global HQ has already opened and is ready to hit the ground running. Bandwidth has 1,200 employees — or Bandmates — and is looking to gather even more.

Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnologies, Holly Springs | Life science industry

The life sciences sector of this Japanese conglomerate is building a manufacturing plant with many jobs to come.

ProPharma, downtown Raleigh | Life science industry

This research consulting organization will bring up to 100 jobs to the Triangle over the course of two years from a historic building in Raleigh.

Vinfast, Chatham County | Automotive industry

NC’s partnership with electric car manufacturer Vinfast is the biggest economic development announcement in NC history. The Vietnamese company broke ground on its assembly plant in late July, and will start producing 150,000 fully electric SUVs each year come 2025.

Wolfspeed, Chatham County | Technology industry

This Durham-headquarted semiconductor facility may employ up to 1,800 people when construction is complete. These semiconductors will be utilized in electric cars, 5G cell networks, and renewable energy systems.
