We are highlighting five local spots that will soon be transformed into festive pop-ups featuring creative cocktails, kitschy Christmas decor, and much more.
Sippin’ Santa at Wye Hill | Nov. 20-Dec. 31 | For the first time, this eatery overlooking the Raleigh skyline will host a retro beach-themed Christmas pop-up. Instead of Santa on a sleigh, expect the big man on surfboards surrounded by palms, tinsel, and hibiscus garlands.
St. Nick’s at House of Art | Nov. 14-Dec. 31 | This social museum located inside of a historic Raleigh home is showcasing more than just local talent this holiday season — join this artsy bar + museum for its annual St. Nick’s pop-up featuring various rooms draped in festive decor, classic holiday cocktails, and more. Tickets are $10.

Miracle at The Haymaker | Nov. 24 | Every year, this vintage-style cocktail bar brings in elves from the Miracle pop-up crew to transform its space with kitschy holiday decor. Wear your best or tackiest holiday sweater to sip on cozy drinks out of over-the-top mugs like the Marshmallows & Unicorns .
Tinsel Tavern at Sports & Social | Nov. 24-Dec. 24 | Get cozy and enjoy top-to-bottom decor along with holiday-themed bites + bevs. The festive pop-up will also have unique photo opportunities and events, like cookie decorating and movie nights. Sign up to be first in line to make a reservation.
The Dessertery at Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts | Nov. 17-Dec. 23 | Be transported to a festive wonderland filled with carefully selected holiday decor, handcrafted desserts, and a hot chocolate bar featuring 100+ toppings. Pro tip: Santa will make an appearance on Nov. 26, Dec. 10 + Dec. 16. Tickets are $28 for those 7 or older and $15 for ages 2 through 6.
