How many of you are unsure and nervous about selling your house? We’re here to let you know you don’t need to do it alone. Working with an expert team, like The Coley Group, can help you get the highest return on investment.

RALtoday editor Carly recently met with Gretchen Coley and Courtney Javornik from The Coley Group, a team with 20+ years of experience, to ask questions about selling a home for the first time. Here’s the scoop.

What we tried:

Everyone’s home selling process will look a little different, but, generally speaking, there are 5 things you should know:

  • Discuss + determine your pricing strategies. There are three different strategies for selling your home, we determine which is best for you.
  • Leave emotions out of the transaction.
  • How you prepare the home for the market is key for driving up the sales price. Houses sell 16% faster when staged.
  • Get ahead of buyers with pre-marketing to drive buyer demand
  • Everything is negotiable. As a properly prepared seller, you will have leverage in negotiation.

What not to miss:

The Coley Group provides homeowners a comprehensive digital marketing strategy to sell their home, including targeted Facebook advertising, email marketing, content marketing + personalized 1-to-1 outreach to reach the right buyer.

Carly’s favorite part: The agency’s lifestyle videos. Gretchen calls her videos their “secret sauce.” The videos range from home property tours to community spotlights + more.

“Lifestyle videos will help drive the most buyers,” Gretchen said. “Video and digital marketing make the biggest difference in the number of buyers that walk through the door.”

Carly went into the meeting with Gretchen and Courtney extremely nervous + unsure about the next steps. She left feeling confident + ready to put her home on the market.

The Coley group’s dynamic team of specialists knows what buyers want and will guide sellers throughout the process. Their goal is to make the seller feel as comfortable as possible.
