We love everything about Raleigh – from its little big town feel to the immense pride people have in living here – but there are always things that could make it even better.

We asked you all what you would want to see come to our cityhoping it would catch the attention of the right people + get the conversation started about what we need in Raleigh.

Today, we’re celebrating both the wins we’ve seen with new developments around town + those items that remain on our readers’ Raleigh Wish List. Here is what some of you had to say about what you want to see come to our city.

Bill K. - “More daycares for young children and more schools to support the growth. We were on every waitlist for daycares downtown, and some of them have hundreds of people waiting!

Timothy L. - “It would be cool to have keto friendly restaurants, food stores, etc. I would also love to hear from readers about their success stories to help motivate me as I start my diet.

Beth B. - “We need more quality daycares.

Aaron P. - “A true gaming lounge, with a bunch of large 4k TVs, consoles, PCs, and competitions. Esports lounge or something with food and a bar.

Farris S. - “I’d like to see more chocolate and candy shops.

Jake P. - “We have no saunas in town! I mean sure there are some at gyms but no Turkish baths, Russian banyas or Korean bathhouses in town.”
