You already love visiting Asheville — and AVL summer Saturdays hit an even sweeter note.

Since 1967, Shindig on the Green has filled downtown’s Pack Square Park with mountain music, clog dancing, and spontaneous jam sessions at sundown.

Back this year July 5-August 23, the free series invites all generations of locals and visitors to bring along their lawn chairs + blankets to enjoy ballad singers, mountain dancers, and more “uniquely Asheville” acts amidst the Southern Appalachia breeze.
