Downtown is overflowing with murals, makers, and art galleries, but where do you start? Well, grab an electric scooter and some comfortable shoes, because we’re guiding you on a scooter art tour — complete with hydration stations and shopping spots along the way.

From start to finish this tour is less than two miles we recommend taking the tour on Saturdays.

Artspace, 201 E. Davie St. (900 ft from Lump) | Wednesday-Saturday 11 a.m.-7 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m.-4 p.m. | Free | Celebrating NC artists, this non-profit visual arts center is filled with local pieces and 35+ artist studios.

Brewery Bhavana, 218 S. Blount St. (800 ft from Artspace) | Wednesday-Thursday, 4-10 p.m., Friday-Sunday, 11:30 a.m.-11 p.m., and Sunday 11:30 a.m.-9 p.m. | Take a seat at the bar in this maker-inspired space featuring craft beer, books, dim sum, and gifts.

Canes Mural at Cabarrus Parking Deck, 436 S. Salisbury St. (.4 miles from Brewery Bhavana) | Open 24/7 | Free | Check out this massive new Carolina Hurricanes mural by Gabriel Eng-Goetz.

Crank Arm Brewing, 319 W. Davie St. (.2 miles from the Canes Mural) | Monday-Sunday, times vary | Time for another round… before settling in for a cold brew, take a peek around the corner to view the Mount Rapmore of the 2010s mural by Jeks One.

The Flourish Market, 307 W. Martin St. (800 ft from Crank Arm) | Monday-Saturday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m., and Sunday 1-5 p.m. | This shop partners with 200+ brands from around the world to provide dignified jobs and fair wages to makers + artisans.

311 Gallery, 311 W. Martin St. (beside The Flourish Market) | Thursday-Saturday, 12-4 p.m. | Free | Nestled in the Warehouse District is this intimate gallery housing 12 artists’ studios with an exhibition gallery and a gift shop.

Raleigh Denim Workshop + Curatory, 319 W. Martin St. (beside 311 Gallery) | Tuesday-Thursday, 12-6 p.m., Friday-Sunday, 12-6 p.m. | Free | This stylish shop offers high-end, hand-crafted rustic denim jeans + apparel.

CAM Raleigh, 409 W. Martin St. (500 ft from Raleigh Denim) | Saturday-Sunday, 12-5 p.m. | Free | Step back to view the large mural painted outside of the building before heading into this contemporary art museum.

Junction West, 310 S. West St. (90 ft from CAM) | Thursday-Sunday, times vary | Take a breather + sip on a cold beverage from this vibey bar with downtown views (it also has patio games).

Rebus Works, 301-2 Kinsey St. (.5 miles from Junction West) | Tuesday-Wednesday, 8 a.m.-3 p.m., Thursday-Saturday, 8 a.m.-7 p.m., and Sunday 10 a.m.-3 p.m. | Free | This alternative community-oriented gallery provides a space for artists + features a quaint shop filled with local treasures (it also hosts a Saturday makers + farmers market).

End here: Wye Hill, 201 S. Boylan Ave. (.2 miles from Rebus Works) | Monday-Sunday, times vary | Finish off this epic tour with dinner, craft cocktails, and a sunset over Raleigh’s skyline.
