Q: What brought you to WPU?
A: I came to WPU to further my academic + athletic career. Being a college athlete was always a dream of mine, and WPU gave me that opportunity.

Q: What’s been your favorite class during your time here?
A: Criminal Investigations I + II with Professor Mimi Alvarez has been my favorite class at WPU.

Q: What would you say to someone thinking about applying?
A: Choosing WPU was one of the greatest decisions I ever made. Every experience I’ve had here has helped shape and mold me into the woman I want to be.

Senior Khalil Tompkins (Communications major)

Q: What brought you to WPU?
A: What brought me to WPU was a whim. I was very unsure about the other schools that had accepted me, and my number one school wasn’t giving me enough financial aid to attend. So, William Peace was my second choice.

Q: What’s been your favorite class during your time here?
A: My favorite class here was any class that I had with Janelle Alexander. It was a privilege to even have her as a professor, and I feel like she helped me in ways that extended out of the classroom — especially when it came to my mental health. I truly do miss her as a professor teaching at WPU.

Q: What would you say to someone thinking about applying?
A: What I would say to someone before they apply to William Peace is to take a tour here. Speak to first-year students and seniors so you can have a better grasp of what really goes on on campus.

Senior Dylan Cross (Communications major)

Q: What brought you to WPU?
A: What brought me to WPU was the small campus. I really enjoyed the historical feel. Also, my brother was already attending WPU and had nothing but good things to say about it.

Q: What’s been your favorite class during your time here?
A: COM 390 (Multimedia Editing) has been my favorite class during my time here. I really enjoyed video editing and the projects we created.

Q: What would you say to someone thinking about applying?
A: I would say to apply to William Peace and get familiar with the opportunities provided by the campus.

Junior Nicola Saunders (Business Analytics major)

Q: What brought you to WPU?
A: I wanted to come to WPU because they have a business analytics degree program, which is what I want to do post-graduate.

Q: What’s been your favorite class during your time here?
A: My favorite class during my time here has been my Religion and Sports class with Dr. Born.

Q: What would you say to someone thinking about applying?
A: Something I would say to a person who was thinking about applying here would be to check out all of the degree programs + the extracurriculars that are available for students.
