Okay foodies, it’s your moment. Downtown Raleigh Restaurant Week begins today and this year’s event will feature lunch and dinner specials from 32 local restaurants. Remember, this 10-day event is both a marathon and a sprintif you manage to hit every single menu, air high fives to you, but just in case you need help deciding, we’re sharing some of our top picks so you can prioritize your list.

Know before you go:

🍴A prix fixe (pronounced pree-fix) menu typically offers an appetizer, entree, and dessert for one fixed price. (Get it?) While most participating restaurants will have a prix-fixe menu specially designed for Downtown Raleigh Restaurant Week, their regular menus are usually available as well.

🍴What’s different this year? In addition to several options for outdoor dining, most participating restaurants this year will also offer the restaurant week menu for takeout. Bonus: October 3 and 10 from 5 to 9 p.m., the Downtown Raleigh Alliance will close three blocks on Fayetteville Street. These #DineOutDowntown days will offer additional outdoor seating for guests to enjoy their meals.
