Good morning Raleigh, Erin here. 👋 Since I moved to town three years ago, and despite my best efforts, my list of places to try — particularly restaurants — has gotten longer, not shorter. Our food scene around the Triangle is truly popping out, and with the influx of new concepts from big name chefs like Katsuji Tanabe and local celebs like Ashley Christensen, it can be hard to keep track of all the new openings.

Today, we’re spotlighting a few of our fave new-ish nibs around town — ICYMI.

Jolie

The newest restaurant from chef Scott Crawford, owner of downtown Raleigh’s Crawford & Son — opened last fall on Person Street to a door-busting 2,000+ reservations made within the first few hours. Recommended for: date nights.
📍620 N. Person Street, Raleigh
Dinner Tuesday-Saturday
🍽️ The menu features French-inspired appetizers, elegant entrees + delectable desserts. TryThis: chicken liver pate, escargot, salade Lynonnaise, beef cheek bourguignon + pot de creme. Full menu here.

⏰ Lunch and dinner Tuesday-Sunday
🍽️ In addition to various pies, the menu features snacks and salads like felafel + seasonal pickled vegetables. TryThis: fried dough knots, tomato braised lamb meatballs, the Funghi pizza, and lemon-ricotta bomboloni. Full menu here.
