At 2 a.m. on Sunday, clocks will jump forward to 3 a.m., meaning we’ll lose an hour of sleep, but gain brighter evenings for the next several months. If the time change has you feeling off, here are a few ways to make the most of those longer evenings around RAL.

🕰️ Reset your routine

If the lost sleep hits hard, consider an early evening coffee run at any of our buzzing coffee shops or relax your body with a self-care session.

🎶 Catch live music

With daylight stretching later, concerts and outdoor shows feel even better. Many of Raleigh’s venues have long setlists to amp up this spring. There’s nothing like a Red Hat Amphitheater sunset.

🗓️ Attend a local event

Every month, we update our Plan Ahead with a variety of events happening in and around Raleigh every single day, no matter when the sun sets.

The Buy

A really good retinol serum without the premium price tag. For under $25, it’s clinically proven to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, brighten skin, and boost elasticity.

The Wrap

My Thai food search continues. This week, I tried Thai Thai in Holly Springs, and it’s a top contender for me. I love a garlicky and broccoli-filled pad see ew, and their lunch prices are perfect.
