🏈 Tailgates, pigskins, and rivalries as old as time

The Wolfpack football team lines up for a play.
We’re gearing up for another season of Wolfpack football. | Photo provided by NC State Athletics
The Triangle football season kicks off tomorrow with the Wolfpack facing ECU at Carter-Finley — here’s all you need to know about NC State’s season.

Remember CJ Bailey? He’s back as QB1 for the 2025 season, and last year, he threw the most yards in one game against Syracuse as a true freshman since Philip Rivers in 2000. The last Pirates and Pack meet-up ended in a brawl at the 2024 Military Bowl, so we might see some increased tension on the field.

Aside from the typical ACC games, don’t miss the first-ever match-up between NC State and Campbell. Despite being a stone’s throw away in Buies Creek, the Fighting Camels and Wolfpack have never played each other in football.

Allie, here — as usual, I’m excited to see the Pack take on UNC, and there are still seats available for the Saturday, Nov. 29 game. Between you and me? I don’t think Bill Belichick has a shot in Carter-Finley.

Self-care isn’t all spa days and forest bathing — although we do love a nice hot stone massage. More often than not, it’s the simple things like prioritizing rest, practicing good hygiene, and practicing mindfulness. Elevate your self-care rituals with these five products:

🫧 Treat your skin to a little TLC with a Moroccan exfoliating glove that gently removes dead skin + cleans pores.
💧Elevate your favorite reading or journaling space with an aroma diffuser and lavender essential oils.

The Wrap

Y’all — I can’t believe how many live music events are coming to Raleigh in September. If I weren’t headed to Hopscotch and another out-of-town fest, I’d be picking up tickets for Rilo Kiley, The Marías, and James Taylor. Check out our Plan Ahead and let me know which concerts you’re attending next month.
