Cannonball Music Hall at Raleigh Iron Works is now open — and you won’t find national acts coming to this venue. Instead, Cannonball is specifically for local artists finding their footing with a capacity of 144 and 24/7 rehearsal spaces. (WUNC)

It’s not every day you can putt downtown, but this summer, a new mini-golf course in City Plaza is making Fayetteville Street just a little bit more vibrant. Premiering at Artsplosure, this mini-golf course was made by local artists — just scan the QR code and play for free.

National acai bowl spot Everbowl is getting a second Raleigh franchise in Brier Creek by the end of the year. The first Raleigh Everbowl opened on Falls of Neuse Road two years ago, and the new location will double its square footage. (Triangle Business Journal)
