Raleighites — is it just us, or is the summer heat on your mind too?
Through the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Climate Prediction Center, we know what temperatures and precipitation trends to expectin our city for June, July, and August.
Although precise weather conditions cannot be predicted more than a week in advance, we can get close predictions. Here’s a seasonal overview to help you prepare for what summer has up its sleeve.

Temperature
Coming in hot. This summer, Raleigh has a 40-50% chance of temperatures being higher than normal.

Expect slightly more precipitation. Raleigh has a 40-50% chance of receiving higher than average rainfall amounts this summer.
