You know I’m a big movie buff, so I was so sad to hear of David Lynch’s death last week. Did you know he had some North Carolina connections? Lynch filmed “Blue Velvet” in Wilmington, set in the fictional town of Lumberton, which may or may not be based on the Robeson County town of the same name.
