The Triangle Parade of Homes is an annual event where you can explore the latest in home design and community living without the high ticket price. Open to the public, the tour invites audiences to visit the newest homes and communities throughout the Triangle starting this weekend, on Saturday, Sept. 28-29, Oct. 4-6 and 11-13, with tours running daily from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Costco is considering Wake Forest for its newest Triangle location. The proposed site would occupy 24.9 acres, featuring a 152,000 sqft building with 870 parking spaces and a gas station. Transit
All aboard, next stop — the Midwest. Amtrak is temporarily merging its Silver Star + Capitol Limited trains to create the Floridian, connecting Florida and the Midwest. Starting Nov. 10, it will run daily through the Triangle, with stops in Raleigh and Cary. (The News & Observer)
Holiday
Tickets will be on sale soon for the Holiday Express at Pullen Park event, running from Dec. 2 through Dec. 18. Visitors can enjoy a train ride, a life-size snow globe experience + a visit to Santa’s mobile workshop. Tickets go on sale for $17 on Oct. 16, starting at 9 a.m.
