Now more than ever, data shows that consumers are experimenting with what it means to be “sober curious.” The result has been a spike in sales of nonalcoholic beverages and a declining interest in alcoholic drinks.

Here are a few stand-out stats:
  • Total dollar sales of nonalcoholic beverages grew by 20.6% between August 2021 and August 2022. Nonalcoholic beer accounted for 85.3% of those sales.
  • 36% of US consumers reported to have “lost interest in drinking alcohol in general” while 13% reported to be “interested in alternative nonalcoholic beverages.”
  • Sales of nonalcoholic beer, wine, and spirits rose from 0.22% of total alcohol sales in the US in 2018 to 0.47% in 2022.
  • Global Market Share predicts that the nonalcoholic drinks market will grow to $30 billion by 2025.

Cheers to 50 years.

Local biz Whitley Law Firm, a North Carolina heavyweight in the personal injury arena, just celebrated 50 years of fighting for their clients.

And what better way to commemorate the momentous milestone than by moving to one of the city’s most stunning new office spaces?

🏢 New digs in North Hills

The firm recently became the first tenant at The Exchange Raleigh, snagging a second-floor space in the ultra-modern 1000 Social.

This show-stopping tower isn’t just another office building — it’s the heart of a brand-new, mixed-use development in North Hills (think sleek condos, trendy restaurants, plus shopping + green spaces galore).

🥇 5 decades of excellence

Established in 1974, Whitley Law Firm has always been a family affair. Led by the dynamic duo of Bob and his son Ben Whitley, their team of legal eagles tackles a wide range of personal injury cases, from car accidents to faulty products.
