The Carolina Theatre in Durham is celebrating Black History Month with a civil rights exhibit called “Confronting Change,” discussing its history as a segregated theater and the role the Civil Rights Movement had in desegregating the historic space. Gary’s autumnal photo was the favorite of 55% of voters. Circa 1756, this gristmill is the center of Historic Mill County Park and looks particularly stunning in the fall surrounded by changing leaves.
