If you’re looking for a romantic, multi-sensory music experience, then Candlelight Concerts are sure to hit all the right notes.
City Editor Cat here — my parents recently went to a Coldplay and Imagine Dragons performance presented by Candlelight Concerts and were blown away.
Picture this: You’re listening to your favorite music being performed by professional musicians, ranging from string quartets to brass bands, while surrounded by the glow of thousands of flickering candles.
This elegant music display gives music fans a chance to listen to famous tunes in a whole new way, and each concert takes place in a unique location, including Raleigh’s Merrimon-Wynne House and All Saints Chapel. There is a wide variety of themes and genres to choose from like pop, rock, and movie soundtracks.
Talk about a throwback... Third Eye Blind and Yellowcard are coming to Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek together this summer. These two bands were very much a part of my childhood, so you bet I set a reminder for when tickets go on sale to the public this Friday, Jan. 12 at 10 a.m.
What summer concerts are you most looking forward to? Let us know.
