Regardless, whether you’ve met “the one” or are hoping to impress someone new, we’ve got 25+ local date night ideas that are legen — wait for it — dary.
For the ones who want a night out on the town

Now Serving, a nonprofit group distributing healthy meals from restaurants, caterers, and commercial kitchens to the local community, will host Now Serving Food + Wine this Saturday, Oct. 21 from 2 to 6 p.m. in Smoky Hollow. Proceeds from this event will help fund more community meals.
The event will celebrate the nonprofits work in the Triangle culinary scene, including its 72,000 donated meals since its inception in February 2022.
Vendors at the event will include Smoky Hollow residents Madre and Midwood Smokehouse as well as Cheeni Indian Food Emporium, Hummingbird, Stanbury, Mandolin, St. Roch, and plenty more hot Raleigh restaurants. Chefs, like Cheeni’s Preeti Waas and Sean Fowler from Mandolin, will pair up to create a one-time dish.
This event is free to attend, but a $75 ticket will get participants a sample from each of the 12 food stalls as well as wine, spirits, and beer. In addition to delicious bites, attendees will enjoy local music and cooking demonstrations.
Last night, I visited Vidrio to try its Spain-inspired dinner with new Executive Chef Abel Chiok Diaz. I love Spanish food, so this was a real treat. Visit Chef Abel in this unique space any time you want to get away without using your passport.
