  • Chef Ashley Christensen sold her shares of BB’s Crispy Chicken to Raleigh-based MDO Holdings — her co-founding business partner, which now has full ownership of the fried chicken chain.   • There’s new downtown public art celebrating Bike Month. The cycling-themed mural by artist Mayanthi Jayawardena celebrates movement, health, wellness, and the outdoors with bold and vibrant shapes inspired by Mayanthi’s Sri Lankan culture. You can find it on the side of Exploris Middle School near State of Beer.
