• We’re just days away from J. Cole’s Dreamville Music Festival, expected to bring ~100,000 people to Raleigh this weekend (April 1-2). The News & Observer put together a detailed guide for the festival, including what’s new this year and how to watch the concerts from home.

• The Wake County Animal Center is searching for a home for a goat and dog duo. The two best friends, named Cinnamon and Felix, came to the center on March 13 and are inseparable — they play, eat, and sleep together. The center hopes to find a rescue partner to take them in (they are not up for public adoption at this time).

• NC State football coach Dave Doeren and his wife, Sara, pledged $1.25 million to OnePack Empowered. This new program supports NC State students with executive functioning challenges, such as organization, task completion, and decision making.
