The NC Zoo has been incredibly engaging throughout the pandemic, sharing content that ranges from the birth of five American red wolves to letting us vote on a name for their newest white rhino. Even though they aren’t quite ready for us to come and visit just yet, you can tune into their virtual programs to stay connected + in the loop with your favorite zoo pals.

Some of these events take you live + behind the scenes of life at the NC Zoo, but all of the programs offer recorded videos of the events, so don’t fret if you can’t make it to the livestream. Just check back when you can, kick back, and explore the zoo at your leisure through uploaded videos.

🔍 Zoo EDventures | Every Monday, Wednesday + Friday | 10 a.m. | Facebook Live | An educational presentation about animals and nature from the NC Zoo crew.

🔍 Zoo Classroom | Every Thursday | 1 p.m. | NC Zoo website | A free distance learning series available to K-12 audiences.

🔍 Living With Nature | Watch recorded tours here | A free distance learning event series available to schools + home school groups. Each event is designed with the NC Standard Course of Study in mind for grades 6 through 12.

🔍 Untamed Science | Watch recorded episodes here | Join Rob Nelson as he learns about the animals at the NC Zoo from a new + unusual perspective.
