In honor of International Women’s Day, here are just a few of the women leading the way at Merz Aesthetics, representing in their fields:

Dr. Terri Phillips

With 20+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Terri holds the position of Chief Medical Affairs Officer at Merz Aesthetics, where she is responsible for global medical education and clinical studies, providing oversight to all medical affairs functions for the business. Terri served for many years in the United States Army Medical Corps and is passionate about diversity and inclusion in the medical field as well as being involved in the community.

Dr. Samantha Kerr

As Merz’s Aesthetics Chief Scientific Officer, Samantha oversees a team of 200 scientists who drive company innovation and bring products to the market in 30+ countries. A new arrival to the Triangle from the UK, Dr. Kerr serves on the STEM Goes Red Steering Committee for the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women Campaign.

Hyunna Coelho

Hyunna Coelho has over 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry. She has been with Merz for 13 years in varying roles of increased responsibilities. As a member of the global leadership team, she supported the establishment of the global Merz Aesthetics headquarters in Raleigh, NC in July of 2020. As Chief Administrative Officer, she oversees Global CORE Services — which includes corporate communications, organizational development, human resources, learning and development, and facilities. Her team is committed to taking care of colleagues worldwide, developing and fostering company culture, and positioning Merz Aesthetics as an employer of choice. Hyunna also spearheads the company’s many community relations initiatives.
