Tucked away along South Person Street is The Artist Lounge Raleigh — an outdoor oasis with a relaxed vibe for artists to get inspired and boost their creativity. There’s a luxurious pool, elongated fire pit, multiple lounge areas + a large bar fit with two beer taps. Check out the serene space.

Local creator Georgia Tardy opened the arts-centered events space in her backyard about six months ago, softy launching with “Last Friday” events (intentionally named and scheduled as to not conflict with First Fridays). These monthly meetups brought together artists, creative entrepreneurs, and neighbors to celebrate all forms of art. Since then, she’s hosted a variety of events from Woosah Wednesdays (if you know you know) to an end of summer pool party, just for artists. The Artist Lounge surrounds the Georgia Tardy Art Studio, which will celebrate its grand opening on Sat., Oct. 1.

If you’re an artist (and Georgia likes to say that everyone is), The Artist Lounge can be rented for things like art exhibitions, fashion shows, launch parties + creative brainstorming sessions. Stay tuned for a calendar of Artist Lounge events, coming soon.
