Celebrate ‘Veganuary’ with this Raleigh restaurant challenge

The Raleigh Vegan Chef Challenge has chefs showcase their vegan cooking skills with new dishes. Over a dozen local restaurants are making plant-based dishes — try them all month and vote for your favorites.

If you’re looking to make a delicious change for the new year, give Veganuary and the Raleigh Vegan Chef Challenge a try. During the month of January, 14 Triangle restaurants will feature new vegan meals + dishes which diners can vote on.

Here are just a few delectable plant-based options available during the challenge.

Brookside Bodega, 1000 Brookside Dr., Ste. 119 | Watermelon and beet salad, vegan chorizo flatbread, and a vegan kofta gyro

Plates Neighborhood Kitchen, 301 Glenwood Ave., Ste. 100 | Veggie roast, miso rice noodle bowl, crispy Brussels sprouts, and lion’s mane mushroom cakes

Sassool, Raleigh + Cary locations | Spicy smoky red pepper dip with vegan pita
