Northern VA taqueria Taco Bamba is coming to Raleigh at the end of the month. The first location for this street food restaurant outside of VA will be at 3518 Wade Ave., in the same shopping center as Whole Foods and the Red and White Shop.

Taco Bamba’s Raleigh menu boasts NC-themed eats like the Wolfpack Poutine taco with sweet potato fries, white barbecue sauce, and pimento cheese, and the Sir Walter Raleigh torta with Carolina-style beef franks and chili.

The restaurant also has breakfast like a bacon, egg, and cheese empanada, huevos rancheros, and a breakfast sope. Plus, there’s free coffee all day long.

The new quick-service spot opens Monday, Aug. 28 at 9 a.m. with a special offer: the first 100 taco fans in line will receive free tacos once a week for a year. This will also be the first stand-alone Taco Bamba location.
