Floral-inspired events to celebrate Art in Bloom

Art in Bloom will be here before you grow it. From build-a-bouquet pop-up booths to scavenger hunts, the NCMA and PNC Bank are hosting floral-inspired community events across the Triangle leading up to the annual fundraising event from Wednesday, March 15 to Sunday, March 19. Mark your calendars for these dates:

Build-a-Bouquet | Wednesday, March 1 | 5-9 p.m. | Copperline Plant Company, 300 Blake St., Raleigh | Free | During the Raleigh Night Market, pose and take photos in front of a large floral display and create bouquets with flowers provided by the English Garden.

Music in Bloom | Friday, March 3 | 5-9 p.m. | Moore Square Park, 201 S. Blount St., Raleigh | Free | Pianist Emilie Powell will perform on the Moore Square Art Piano prior to the First Friday movie screening from 5:45 pm-6:15 pm. The piano will be adorned with a floral installation by Watered Garden Florist.

Build-a-Bouquet Scavenger Hunt | Saturday, March 4 | 12-3 p.m. | NCMA Museum Park, 2110 Blue Ridge Rd., Raleigh | Free | Follow clues to find flowers, provided by Wild Flora Flowers, to build a free bouquet.
