Marbles Kids Museum’s newest exhibit update is shore to be awesome.

When kids step inside Splash and the museum’s re-imagined water play area, they’ll be immersed in an interactive deep-sea adventure, featuring a three-story pirate ship and yellow submarine. Once on board, they’ll get to explore, experiment, and imagine oceans both near and far.

Kids can also dive into hands-on water play at the 65-ft-long water table, inspired by the NC coast. It has 19 special features, including areas for kids to race boats through movable obstacles and cast a line to catch magnetic fish.

The renovated exhibit is made possible by longtime Marbles supporters Jim and Susie Erlinger.

“Jim and I are big believers in the power of play and the importance of informal, out-of-school learning opportunities,” Susie said. “We can’t wait to see the learning, exploration, and fun that happens in the upgraded space in the years to come.”

Advanced tickets ($9 + free for members) are required and sell out quickly.
