Triangle universities rank high on US News Best Colleges list

Duke University, UNC-Chapel Hill, and NC State all ranked among the top 60 national universities in US News Best Colleges rankings.

The US News Best Colleges rankings are out and NC State secured the No. 28 spot among top public universities. This is the highest ranking the university has ever received on this list.

This annual report is split into multiple categories like the best national universities, liberal arts colleges, and top public schools, so future students can seek out the best university for their needs.

Some other notable NC State rankings include No. 60 among national universities and No. 30 for engineering. NC State is also the No. 36 best university for veterans.

Duke University and UNC ranked No. 7 + No. 22 in the national university category. The Tar Heels also received recognition as the No. 4 top public school and No. 14 for the best value school.

Meredith College ranked No. 130 in the national liberal arts colleges category and NC Central University, Saint Augustine’s University, and Shaw University ranked No. 26, No. 86, and No. 90 in the best regional colleges South rankings, respectively.
