School’s nearly back in session for the Triangle’s thousands of students, and move-in weekend is fast approaching. Pro tip: You might want to avoid areas near these campuses while students settle into their residence halls. Here’s when.

NC State University | Move in: Thursday, Aug. 14-Sunday, Aug. 17. | First day of classes: Monday, Aug. 18 | ~39,000 students

UNC-Chapel Hill | Move in: Wednesday, Aug. 13-Sunday, Aug. 18 | First day of classes: Monday, Aug. 18 | ~31,000 students

Duke University | Move in: Saturday, Aug. 16 | First day of classes: Monday, Aug. 25 | ~18,000 students

Meredith College | Move in: Saturday, Aug. 16 | First day of classes: Wednesday, Aug. 20 | ~1,600 students
